I don't often post my poetry on here directly, but hey, why not? I wasn't expecting such a good response from the poetry chatroom on this one, but hey, they liked it. Hope you guys do too.
Wall of Silence
Silence
Not as inspirational as music
But doesn't hold things in
Tunes
A wall between the mind
And the page
Too thick to break
Thoughts held within
The music a prison
Silence an opening
But it's still locked inside
Pointless musings
Not worth the time
Deeper emotions
Unfound
Banging on the musical wall
It's still silent
I'm still blank
